Bookings A booking will be confirmed upon receipt of a deposit payment of 20% of the rental fee. The balance of the rental fee is payable six weeks before the arrival date. If the balance is not received six weeks prior to arrival, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and treat the house as being available for letting to someone else.
Cancellations If you have to cancel your booking please notify us or by email. You will remain liable for the deposit payment and, if you cancel within six weeks of your arrival date, the full rental fee (although we will refund this if we successfully re-let the house). Should the house not be available due to circumstances beyond our control, all sums will be returned to you in full and you will have no further claim against us.
Arrival and Departure Please arrive after 4pm on the day of arrival and please leave before 10am on the day of departure. If the house is unoccupied during the previous or following week it may be possible to arrive earlier or depart later by arrangement.
Smoking Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house.
Electricity and Wood The cost of reasonable use of electricity is included in the rental fee. A basket of logs is provided, and additional logs are available from the log store.
Phone There is no phone in the house, but most mobile networks provide a reasonable signal in Lynchat.
Cleaning and Breakages During your stay you are responsible for looking after the house and its contents. The house will be cleaned thoroughly before the next guests arrive, but please leave it tidy and reasonably clean before you depart. Please advise the housekeeper of any breakages so that these can be replaced for the next guests. Subject to fair wear and tear you are responsible for the cost of any breakages, damage and additional cleaning required. You are responsible for your own property and valuables during your stay.
Access The owners and any contractors appointed by them will be allowed reasonable access to the property during your stay to carry out any essential repairs and maintenance.
Pets We regret that we don't allow pets at Rathmhor.
